Rosso di Montalcino is a classic wine, made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, which comes out one year after the harvest in order to maintain all the freshness and fruitfulness of a young wine but at the same time the intensity of that terroir that only Montalcino is capable of transmitting.

Winery: Col D’Orcia; Tuscany region; denomination: Toscana DOC; alcohol content: 14%; Aging: 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity of between 75 and 150 hl. Bottle refinement follows; vines: 100% Sangiovese

Well-structured wine with soft and ripe tannins. It has a long, persistent and pleasantly fruity aftertaste, with the typical hints of small ripe red fruits, blackberry and cherry, in balance with the spices given by the oak.PAIRING: red meats and game, aged cheeses.
